LD COFFEE TABLE

February 2013

The LD Coffee table project was conceived out of a vintage mid-century coffee table that the client's mother had owned.  I recreated the piece in style and form, but used real wood instead of the wood grain linoleum top of the original.  It is quite large for a coffee table, at 48x60x14, but it fits their room wonderfully.  The tabletop is shop-made and bookmatched Eastern Walnut veneer.  The base is ebonized Eastern Maple.
